There are many sites today that offer royalty free clipart that you can use for designing your sweatshirt, hooded sweatshirt and custom t shirts. I used to spend hours upon hours searching for “Free” clip art; why? Because I thought I could save money.
I was spending countless hours hunting down often just a single image. Most of the truly free images are very limited in scope and of poor quality; mostly what I found were “royalty free”, not actually free. What royalty free means is that you won’t have to pay money for various types of usage; however, you usually are required to purchase the original clip art image. A single quality image that is suitable for commercial printing often can cost $20 to $100 or more.

Not being much of an artist myself my plan was to use free clip art images to make sweatshirt shirts and other merchandise for me personally, as gifts, and perhaps sell a sweatshirt or two here and there to make a few bucks. I own usage rights to over 800,000 royalty free images. I will never have to pay for the use of these images again. This clipart collection came with a big thick heavy printed catalog that really makes short work out of visually locating just the right image. I consider this to be almost free clip art when I consider that I own it for a lifetime and my entire family uses it. So at about $90 spread out over a lifetime it seems to me they are giving their sweatshirt clip art away for free.
