How to Make your own Christmas Sweatshirt Apparel
I’m sure a lot of you get your Christmas sweatshirts form you grandmothers or you mom. People usually don’t use this sweatshirt apparel through out the year but it is always a nice thing to put on to be able to make you feel festive and at home. Christmas is probably very important for most families; dressing up for the occasion can make your family smile, especially you granny or your mom who worked hard knitting the sweatshirt all year. Although there might be a lot of them that you would rather keep in the closet, nothing compares to the happiness that you can give to these ladies of your life. This article will help you create a Christmas sweatshirt that you can ether keeps or give to a family or a friend.
I have been in the garments business for sometime now and usually the sweatshirt apparel that we create only involve a hot press to press a Christmas themed print on the generic cotton sweatshirt. For starters, this is the best way to be able to easily create sweatshirt apparel.
So how do you do this?
The first thing that you have to do is choose a Christmas photograph that you want to transfer on the sweatshirt apparel. This should be cool especially for family whose faces you decide to put on the sweatshirt. But if you prefer to use other Christmas themed pictures, feel free to do so. You could either use a picture of a snowflake, Santa Clause, reindeers, winter cabins, Christmas lights; the possibilities are endless.
Transferring your print
It is best that to have an all-in-one scanner, copier and printer. The first thing that you have to do is to scan or upload the picture that you choose. Assuming that you already have the picture that you choose, and have done all the things needed to make it appropriate for showing (cropping, editing, changing color contrasts, etc.) you are now ready for print. Use a transfer paper that you can buy in your office supply store to print the picture in. Remember to use the mirror image setting that is preset in the printer so that the image would not face a different direction. After that, assuming that you already have bought your plain cotton sweatshirt apparel (of any color that you want); you are now ready to transfer your print. Make sure that your iron is about 325 degrees and that you have cut all the unnecessary part of the print. All you have to do is press the print and VOILA! a new sweatshirt. sweatshirt apparel
